The Founders and Directors

 

Alexander Bresinsky, M.S. in Engineering

Alexander founded his first company LichtWerk in 1989, specialised in soft and hardware for Laser Show Technology. At the same time he studied Engineering, specializing in the field of "Entertainment- and Show Technology". Before graduating in 1993 with his Master´s Thesis "Artificial Reality - Simulation in the Entertainment Industry", Alex collected commercial experience through a position in the USA as an employee for Disney´s "Visual Effects" company Dream Quest Images. The year in Los Angeles played a lasting role in his future endeavors.

In 1995, Alexander started to concentrate on the Location Based Entertainment Industry. He built up his contacts in the American market, and in the position of Project Director at MusicPark - the Entertainment Department at the Pixelpark Multimedia GmbH -, he researched and developed connections in the field of New Media. In 1997, he took over Head of Production at the fx.Center Babelsberg´s Production Department, a facility for high-end digital film effects. Before starting flying saucer, Alex also worked as a freelance Producer and Consultant for various agencies and Theme Parks.

He is a lecturer for Entertainment- and Show Technology at the University of Arts and Science in Berlin (HdK/TFH) as well as being an official Jury Member of the ILDA (International Laser Display Association).

 

Stefan Scholze, M.A.

Already an Audio Engineer, Stefan, after graduating in 1989 from the School of Audio Engineering in Berlin, went on to take an M.A. at the Technical University, there he specialized in: Communication Science´s, Acoustics and Computer Science. He then became a freelance Consultant.

In 1992 he became acquainted with the Pixelpark Multimedia GmbH, where he put his consultant abilities to work for a wide range of areas including: "Technical Management and Concept Development", "Programming", "Creative Concept" and "Music Production". Since 1996, he has worked mainly for the department - Strategic Research and Development - successfully taking over for Pixelpark GmbH, the Technical Project and Production Management for many European Common Market research projects. His interest in Show Technology also led him to Alex´s former company LichtWerk, where he was responsible for the technical planning, programming and implementation of laser shows.
